This was painted on location from our camp on Lake Ediza, 10,000 feet in the high Sierras with four artist friends. These horse pack trips are some of the best memories that I have of many painting trips that I have taken over the years. We get a lot of paintings done and with photos have a bounty of material to work from for a long time.
