This plein air painting was done on a recent painting trip I organized June of 2013. Twelve of my artist friends and I painted in Glacier Park for one week and then another week in the Beartooth Mountains just northeast of Yellowstone Park. A great painting trip and we got pretty luck with mostly decent weather for that time of year.
